AI Together : COMPUTEX 2026 | Biling Marmot

From Chips and Servers to Smart Parking: AI Enters Urban Infrastructure
From semiconductor chips and AI servers to smart parking systems, artificial intelligence is steadily becoming part of modern urban infrastructure. At COMPUTEX 2026, Billing Marmot™ was showcased at the Lightspeed booth, demonstrating an AI-powered smart parking solution and illustrating how AI is moving beyond the digital world into real urban environments.
Walking through the halls of COMPUTEX 2026, visitors were surrounded by the computing revolution driven by AI. From powerful GPUs and high-performance AI servers to various Edge AI devices and Digital Twin technologies, “AI Together” was undoubtedly the defining theme of the event and a shared vision across the technology industry.
Yet as computing power continues to reach new heights, an important question emerges: How will these powerful AI technologies be applied in the real world, and how will they transform the cities where we live, work, and travel every day?
In recent years, public attention toward AI has largely focused on generative tools and digital assistants. Yet cities continue to face very real and tangible challenges every day—parking turnover, traffic flow management, and maintaining parking order. These are also areas where AI can play a significant role.
Traditionally, parking spaces were nothing more than painted lines on the road. With the adoption of AIoT technologies, however, urban infrastructure is beginning to gain a new level of awareness. Smart parking systems are no longer passive physical spaces; they have evolved into intelligent nodes capable of detecting vehicle occupancy, recording parking durations, and transmitting data in real time.
By bringing AI into the spaces between roads and curbs, smart parking solutions create practical value in everyday urban environments, enabling city managers to make more informed decisions and allocate resources with greater precision.

Invisible Technology: AI Together with the City
A truly smart city does not require technology to dominate the streetscape. From the very beginning, Billing Marmot™ was designed around the concept of coexisting with the urban environment. Through its unique embedded design, the system breaks away from the conventional approach to smart parking infrastructure—eliminating the need for exposed poles, preserving the streetscape, and minimizing interference with pedestrians.
We believe that the best technology is often the least visible. AI should quietly integrate into the city, becoming part of everyday services rather than adding visual clutter to the urban landscape. Hidden along the curbside are countless stories, and Billing Marmot™ quietly awakens among them—working discreetly in the background to help maintain the rhythm of city life while remaining almost unnoticed.

Looking Beyond COMPUTEX 2026
As COMPUTEX 2026 comes to a successful close, the journey of Billing Marmot™ at this global technology event also reaches a meaningful milestone. Over the past few days, we had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, city planners, and technology enthusiasts from around the world.
Inspired by the exhibition theme, “AI Together,” we have become even more convinced that the future of AI extends far beyond cloud servers and data centers. To create real impact, AI must continue to move into the physical world—and it is already finding its place in the streets, curbs, and urban infrastructure that people interact with every day.
At Billing Marmot™, we believe that the true value of AI lies not only in its computing power, but in its ability to quietly improve everyday urban experiences, helping cities become smarter, more efficient, and more human-centered.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to every visitor who stopped by our booth. Seeing your interest in Billing Marmot™’s embedded design—one that requires no additional poles and preserves the urban streetscape—and witnessing your enthusiasm for how Edge AI performs real-time image processing directly at the front end has been a tremendous source of encouragement for our team.
Behind this vision of transforming digital innovation into real-world urban infrastructure lies our unwavering commitment to technological independence. From core hardware architecture and key technologies to the back-end management platform, Billing Marmot™ is entirely developed in-house, enabling us to continuously refine and optimize every aspect of the solution.
Innovation, however, is never achieved alone. We would also like to express our special thanks to Lightspeed, whose support played an important role in this exhibition. Through the integration of Lightspeed’s high-performance camera modules and our joint development efforts in front-end recognition technology, Billing Marmot™ has achieved even greater sensing accuracy and responsiveness, allowing its capabilities to be fully demonstrated throughout the exhibition.
Together, we are turning advanced AI technologies into practical solutions that seamlessly connect the digital world with the cities of tomorrow.

Looking ahead, we will continue to refine and enhance the Billing Marmot™ solution while collaborating with more outstanding partners in the smart city ecosystem and public sector. Together, we aim to further strengthen system integration and advance the development of smarter urban management platforms.
Billing Marmot™ will remain committed to its founding philosophy: making technology invisible within the city. By integrating seamlessly into urban environments, we strive to help cities manage every parking space and every curbside resource with minimal visual impact and maximum efficiency.

Thank you for joining us at COMPUTEX 2026. We look forward to meeting you again—not only at future exhibitions, but in the smart cities of tomorrow.
See you in the city.
