[Atlanta, USA] The 2025 ITS World Congress, the world’s premier event in intelligent transportation systems, is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, from August 24 to 28, 2025, bringing together over 10,000 industry experts, government officials, and technology leaders.
Under the leadership of the Taipei City Government, ITS Taiwan is collaborating with leading ICT firms and academic institutions to integrate AI into intelligent transportation systems—streamlining traffic management and enabling predictive maintenance.
This year, ITS Taiwan and the Taipei City Government have joined forces with more than a dozen industry partners to unveil a suite of AI-driven ITS solutions here in Atlanta, demonstrating both groundbreaking technology and the spirit of cross-sector cooperation that will propel Taiwan’s next-generation mobility ecosystem.

This year, the Taichung City Government, in collaboration with key partners, is showcasing its cutting-edge solution under the theme “Aesthetics X AI Technology”, presenting “Taichung Smart Parking Creates a New Urban Aesthetic” to the global audience.
Privacy First: AI-Powered Image Processing
The system adopts smart image processing technology, retaining only the license plate number while automatically blurring all other areas of captured images. This approach complies with international data protection regulations, ensuring privacy and reflecting Taichung City’s commitment to responsible smart city development.
Immersive On-Site Experience
The Taichung Pavilion features live equipment demonstrations and real-time plate recognition displays on large screens, allowing visitors to experience firsthand how AI-powered smart mobility is shaping the future of urban living.
